Togo - Guinea/ The Universities of Lomé and Kindia in Guinea sign a partnership agreement
The University of Lomé (UL) and the University of Kindia in Guinea Conakry are now linked by a partnership. Last weekend in Lomé, they signed an agreement initialled by Adama Mawulé Kpodar, President of the University of Lomé, and Akoye Massa Zoumanigui, Rector of the University of Kindia.
Through this partnership, the two institutions will cooperate in teaching and research, and promote the mobility of teachers, researchers and students. Through this collaboration, the institutions will also develop joint research projects, exchange scientific information and publications, and organize conferences and academic meetings.
To this end, specific programs will be defined jointly by those in charge of implementing the partnership at the two universities. Each institution is committed to facilitating administrative procedures and sharing its expertise with its partner.
A monitoring committee has been set up to ensure the effective implementation of the five-year agreement. Its members include the cooperation directors of both universities, who will ensure that the commitments made are properly implemented.
This new agreement consolidates the University of Lomé's drive to establish a vast network of partners in Africa and around the world.
