The Icare Club network, dedicated to entrepreneurs aged 20 to 30, has teamed up with WeForge, an entrepreneurial support structure, to offer young leaders a meeting place to help them develop their projects.

Since Wednesday January 8, the Icare Club network, dedicated to Angevine entrepreneurs aged 20 to 30, has benefited from a partnership with WeForge, a structure specialized in supporting local businesses, located at 25 rue Lenepveu.

The aim of the partnership is to enable a new generation of entrepreneurs to " accelerate their development, structure their projects and develop their skills". velopment, structure their projects and solve their problems thanks to a rich and experienced community", says WeForge.

An initiative born of a shared need

Created in 2022 by four young entrepreneurs, Clémence Bressin, Kylian Rouvrais, Éva Hourdry and Loïse Triollet, Icare Club is the fruit of a simple observation: entrepreneurs under the age of 30 share specific issues that deserve dedicated forums for exchange.

Initially informal, the first meetings between these founders gradually developed into a network.

" When Icare Club was created, we were 4 young entrepreneurs who had all taken our first steps at WeForge. This environment opened doors for us and gave us unquestionable support in our development. Today, more than 40 young entrepreneurs have joined the club, more than 30 have applied for the 2024-2025 promotion and 20 member companies have been selected for this year," explains Clémence Bressin, co-founder of Icare Club and director of Made in Clémence.

WeForge, a new anchor point

Thanks to this partnership, Icare Club now has a meeting place on the WeForge premises, located at 25 rue Lenepveu, Angers. This space hosts the club's monthly meetings, which combine experience-sharing, training and visits to local companies.

" Since January 2022, the development of our club has enabled us to build a solid community of Angers entrepreneurs. It became essential to find a place where our members could get together and feel at home," points out Kylian Rouvrais, co-founder and director of Timy Mobility, a company specializing in the rental of electric bikes and scooters.

In view of this enthusiasm, the founders plan to structure the club as an association to ensure its long-term development.

By making its network and resources available, WeForge intends to consolidate its role as a platform for the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem: " With this alliance, we are reaffirming our role as a catalyst for entrepreneurs, offering them more than just a place: a committed community, an extensive network from Angers, to La Roche-sur-Yon, via Cholet and Le Mans with tailor-made resources. Together, we're opening up new perspectives for a new generation of entrepreneurs in Angers.
