Morocco/Taza Provincial Council adopts several social, cultural and development partnership agreements
At an extraordinary session held on Monday, the Taza Provincial Council adopted a number of social, cultural and development partnership agreements. During the session, chaired by Abdelilah Baaziz, Chairman of the Council, in the presence of Taza provincial governor Mustapha El Maaza, Council members approved a draft partnership agreement for the acquisition of land to house the project to build a student center (Dar Talib) in Rbaa El Fouki.
This agreement aims to establish a framework for cooperation and partnership between the Council and the Délégation provinciale de l'Entraide Nationale in Taza, as part of a partnership between theAgence pour la Promotion et le Développement économique et social des préfectures et provinces du Nord du Royaume (APDN), the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) and the Commune of Rbaa El Fouki.
The Council also approved a partnership agreement with the Oued Amlil Communal Council and the Haut-Commissariat des anciens résistants et membres de l'armée de libération, concerning the rehabilitation and restoration of the headquarters that will house the historical memory space of the resistance and members of the Liberation Army in Oued Amlil.
The total cost of the project is 600,000 dirhams, financed by the Taza Provincial Council and the Oued Amlil Commune.
In addition, a partnership agreement has been approved between the Provincial Council and the Société de développement provincial, to make logistical resources available to the company for the implementation of the project. the company to implement road construction and maintenance projects in the province's various communes.
A partnership agreement between the Taza Provincial Council and the commune of Sidi Ali Bourguiba for the construction and maintenance of rural tracks was also approved.
On the cultural front, council members adopted a partnership agreement between the provincial council and the Agence nationale des équipements publics (ANEP) for the monitoring and control of construction work on the Taza cultural complex.
The session also featured a presentation by the Agence du Bassin Hydraulique de Sebou on ways to minimize the risk of flooding in the province.
In this respect, the Agency stated that projects to protect 12 centers in the province will be carried out at a total cost of around 333 million dirhams.
The Council also examined and approved the draft provincial budget for 2025.
