Belgique/Brussels run crew: the passion of running together in the evening on the streets of Brussels
Night has fallen, the thermometer reads zero degrees, and yet 70 people are here in Flagey to run ten kilometers as a group. It's much more motivating to run together, especially in winter.
Among the participants, there's a lot of talk in English, but also in French. Some come from far away, even if it means an hour's drive.
The aim of this race is not just sporting. The idea is not to run very fast, but to spend some time together, admiring the beautiful sights of Brussels and chatting with your neighbor.
Once the run is over, joggers always meet up in front of a bar, and for those who aren't too tired, it's an opportunity to extend the evening with a drink in hand.
