France/The Region commits to funding six projects in the Baud Communauté area

The Brittany Region has made a commitment to Baud Communauté to participate in the financing of six projects that will help build the region up to 2025. A budget of €644,935 has been approved.

An agreement called Bien Vivre Partout en Bretagne 23-25 (Living Well Everywhere in Brittany 23-25) was drawn up between Baud Communauté and the Brittany region, and signed on Friday November 15, 2024, at Baud Communauté's offices in Baud(Morbihan). It's a partnership renewed for three years, at the service of the people of Baud Communauté", announced Pascale Gillet, president of the intercommunality.

A budget of over €600,000

As part of this partnership, the Brittany Region will finance six structuring projects. A total of €644,935 has been earmarked for these projects. These investments are in line with the region's ambition to offer Bretons a better quality of life, in terms of housing, mobility and services, while at the same time supporting the local economy. and services, while supporting transition," says Élisabeth Jouneaux-Pédrono, regional councillor for Baud Communauté.

Six projects supported

Specifically, in Baud, the Region will help finance the redevelopment of the école du Centre building, which will house a medical center, as well as the completion of a guide plan and land studies for the town center. In Guénin, regional assistance will be focused on the energy renovation of the public school. In Pluméliau-Bieuzy and Melrand, the regional grant will support the creation of health centers (one extension and one creation respectively). In Melrand, the project is led by the Syndicat Sarre Blavet Santé. The agreement also covers the construction of a school and after-school center in the commune of Saint-Barthélemy.
