Chad: Génération Consciente du Guéra raises awareness of children's schooling and social cohesion in Mongo

An initiative for a better future for the children of Guéra. The association "La Génération Consciente du Guéra" today organized an awareness-raising session in the village of Doungoulou, 5 km from Mongo, to promote schooling for children and strengthen social cohesion within the community.

This initiative, chaired by Mr. MHT Ardeb, representative of the Mayor of the Mongo commune and delegate of the district chiefs, brought together the inhabitants of Doungoulou as well as the chiefs of surrounding villages. Discussions were rich and focused on subjects crucial to the region's development: the importance of education for children's future, and ways of fostering inter-community dialogue and preventing conflict.
