Benin - Bassila/4th ordinary session of the municipal council: the budget is reduced from 4,052,278,136 CFA francs in 2024 to 3,447,455,115 CFA francs in 2025

The Bassila communal council held its fourth ordinary session of 2024 on Monday October 21 and Tuesday October 22 in the deliberation room of the town hall.

Several items are on the agenda. These are the study and adoption of the Supervisory Board's quarterly report for the third quarter of 2024, appended to the reports of the Executive Secretary the Executive Secretary's activity reports; updating the directory of taxes to be collected in the commune of Bassila; the study and amendment of the report of the ad' hoc committee responsible for proposing the territorial division of the commune of Bassila; the derelease of the Communal Council on the new competencies to be transferred to the ANFANI EPCI and authorization for the Mayor to travel to France.

Validation of Bassila's 2025 budget took into account the framework letter for communal budgets and the territorial administration code. The new budget has been slightly reduced from four billion fifty-two eight million two hundred and seventy-eight thousand one hundred and thirty-six (4,052,278,136) CFA francs in 2024 to three billion four hundred and forty-seven million four hundred and fifty-five thousand one hundred and fifteen (3,447,455,115) CFA francs in 2025. This reduction is due to the consumption of investment resources on certain contracts nearing completion for the year 2024.

Communications were also made. Firstly, with the councillors for their increased involvement in blood donation mobilization and awareness-raising. Then another communication presented the security and health situation in the commune of Bassila. A total of 19 of the 25 councillors were present.
