Morocco/Marrakech: CNONM signs cooperation agreement with counterparts in Sahel countries
Marrakech - A cooperation agreement was signed on Wednesday in Marrakech between the Conseil National de l'Ordre des Notaires du Maroc (CNONM) and notarial organizations in four Sahel countries, with a view to enabling these institutions to benefit from Morocco's accumulated experience in this field. Signed on the sidelines of the 33rd Congress of African Notaries, the agreement aims to strengthen the scientific and practical capacities of the members of these notarial bodies from Niger, Chad, Mali and Guinea.
This partnership embodies Morocco's commitment to promoting South-South cooperation, the Kingdom's openness to the African continent and its willingness to transfer its experience to these countries in a number of fields, including the notarial profession.
The partnership also covers information exchange, training and digitization.
A second agreement has also been signed between CNONM and Hassan 1er University in Settat, for the launch of a Licence professionnelle de notariat, as well as a master's degree for notary's assistants and notaries.a master's degree dedicated to Moroccan assistants and notaries and students from African countries, in addition to the opening of a doctorate cycle in this field.
In a statement to the press, CNONM Secretary General Rachid Tadlaoui said that the agreement with these Sahel countries would enable the transfer of expertise and experience in the field of notarial practice.expertise and experience in the field of digitization to organizations representing these countries, so that they can raise the profile of the notarial profession in their countries.
In this context, he added that the CNONM had previously signed an agreement with the Chambre des Notaires du Sénégal (CDNS), which enabled the CDNS to adopt a new information system called "Tawtiq Sénégal".
