France/The 60th anniversary of the German twinning will be celebrated in early June 2025, in Cléder
The Friends of the German Twinning with Herleshausen and Lauchröden turned out in force on Friday, October 18, 2024 for their annual general meeting, chaired by Marie-Claude Herry, who opened the meeting by praising the work of the volunteers involved in the various events.
Jean-Luc Berthévas reviewed the past year's activities, which included a bingo in April, a ham and bone festival in July, and a trip by 37 twinning members to Herleshausen last August to celebrate the 60th anniversary. This anniversary will be celebrated in Cléder from June 6 to 10.
A local produce and crafts market on July 14, 2025
Anny Seité, vice-president, presented upcoming projects, including a local produce and crafts market at the Amiets leisure park on July 14. The traditional "jambon à l'os" with dancing will take place on July 26.
Roger Guillou, 1st deputy mayor, praised the association's dynamism.
Anny Seité and Jean-Hervé Croguennec were re-elected to the outgoing third of the board. A new member, Benjamin Abolivier, joined the board.
At the end of the meeting, Marie-Claude Herry introduced four new members to the twinning committee.
