Morocco/Errachidia: Interactive workshops on children's rights for schoolchildren
The Drâa-Tafilalet Regional Human Rights Commission (CRDH) organized several interactive workshops for schoolchildren, in conjunction with the 7th edition of the regional book fair (October 7-14).
The workshops provided an opportunity to highlight the progress made since Morocco ratified the International Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1993, as well as the efforts made by the National Council for Human Rights (CNDH) and the Regional Commission to promote and protect children's rights.Homme (CNDH) and the Regional Commission in terms of promoting and protecting children's rights, and the major projects launched to strengthen and safeguard children's rights.

In a statement to MAP, Ismaili Alaoui Mohamed, an administrative officer at the Drâa-Tafilalet CRDH, said that the workshops, which were marked by a high level of interaction between the children and the CRDH, had been a success.s by a great deal of interaction from the children, were initiated as part of the Commission's openness to the various regional players and partners.
These workshops are an opportunity to familiarize children with the mechanisms, legal provisions and conventions in place for the protection and promotion of children's rights at national and international level.
The CRDH has also set up a stand at the regional book fair, which includes publications and reports by the National Council for Human Rights, creating a space for exchanges and meetings with visitors on various human rights issues.
Organized by the Drâa-Tafilalet Regional Department of Culture, in cooperation with the Wilaya of the Drâa-Tafilalet region and the Errachidia Local Council, the 7th edition of the regional book fair was a success.dition of the Regional Book Fair will see the participation of 36 exhibitors, representing governmental and non-governmental institutions, national publishing houses and local writers.
