Béni Mellal - Opportunities for academic and cultural exchanges between students from the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region and their American peers were presented on Tuesday in Béni Mellal, during a visit by the US Consul General in Casablanca, Marissa Scott.
During the visit, opportunities and programs for exchanges between Moroccan students and their American counterparts were dissected in front of an audience of teachers and students from the Sultan Moulay Slimane University in Béni Mellal.The US Consul General in Casablanca took the opportunity to present the various programs set up by the Sultan Moulay Slimane University in Béni Mellal.

The Consul General underlined that the participation of Moroccan students in these academic exchange programs is tangible proof of the fruitful cultural partnership between the Kingdom and the United States.
The U.S. Consul General in Casablanca then visited the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region before visiting the Sanad cooperative, where she learned about the great potential of rural women working in the regional cooperative sector.
In a statement to MAP, the US Consul General in Casablanca explained that this visit celebrates the great work carried out by the women of the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region, who contribute to the reShe noted that the visit was an opportunity to discover first-hand the various tourist and ecological assets and growth opportunities offered by the women of the cooperatives.
For her part, Amina Majdi, President of the Sanad cooperative, pointed out that the visit was a source of motivation for the dozens of women working in the agricultural cooperatives.She was one of many women who had benefited from a cultural stay as part of an American exchange program, which had enabled her to take full advantage of successful experiences in this field.
