DRC/National education and higher education: launch of project to combat falsification of state diplomas
The imminent implementation of the digital interconnection project between the Ministry of EDU-NC and the Ministry of ESU will reduce the risk of fraud and falsification of state diplomas.

The meeting between the two parties focused on a project to reinforce the integrity and transparency of the process of tracability of state diplomas, registration and admission of graduates to Congolese universities. The project, to be launched in the coming days, is part of a drive to improve the quality of higher and university education in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).mocratique du Congo (RDC), and to combat the growing number of problems linked to the falsification of State Examination diplomas and certificates of achievement during admissions to higher education establishments and universities.
A digital expert in higher and university education, Yusuf Heri pointed out that the project consists in interconnecting the academic, administrative and financial management platform, known as "OptSolution", with the university's internal system.named "OptSolution", used by the DRC's higher education and university establishments, and the State Examination database managed by the Ministry of EDU-NC. According to EDU-NC expert Rodrigue Iyembo, this interconnection will enable automatic, real-time verification of admission candidates' information, while guaranteeing the authenticity of the diplomas presented. Pr Vale Manga Willy, ESU Digital Expert, pointed out that "OptSolution" will reduce the risk of fraud and improve the transparency of admissions procedures. Pr Kale Kenny, EDU-NC advisor for ESU, emphasized the benefits of this project, which will enhance the credibility of diplomas and certificates of achievement. The project will initially focus on the public education sector, before naturally extending to the private sector.
