Vietnam helps the National University of Laos to promote scientific research

The National University of Hanoi, in coordination with the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports, organized a ground-breaking ceremony in Vientiane on Friday July 12 for the project to build a scientific research and training center within the National University of Laos.

The center, with a total investment of over 142 billion dôngs, is being built thanks to a grant from the Vietnamese government. It will comprise a six-storey building with a total floor area of 2,924 m².

Speaking at the ceremony, Le Quan, Director of Hanoi National University, said that the facility would be equipped with synchronous technical equipment and infrastructure, effectively serving scientific research and training activities, and contributing to the training of a contingent of experts and students. training a contingent of scientific experts and human resources competent to master and develop technologies that the National University of Laos and the National University of Hanoi have identified as priorities for cooperation.

The establishment of strategic cooperation between the two universities aims to promote cooperation in education and scientific research between the two countries through through the exchange of students and professors, the organization of scientific conferences and the development of joint research projects.

The Director of the National University of Laos, Dexanoulath Senduangdet, underlined the important significance of this project, symbolizing cooperation between Laos and Vietnam in general, and between the National University of Laos and the National University of Hanoi in particular.
