France/Mareuil-sur-Cher: citizen clean-up of the commune

In partnership with Smieeom, some twenty volunteers gathered on Saturday April 13 in front of the municipal hangar to take part in the civic clean-up of the commune launched by the Mareuil town council. They scoured the roadsides and banks of the Cher, collecting several kilos of various types of garbage. This is an important initiative for keeping the commune clean and welcoming to visiting tourists.
