The Telema Foundation and the Jeune chambre économique du Congo Brazzaville (JCECB) have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen the training and promotion of entrepreneurship in order to help solve the problem of youth unemployment.

The two organizations have chosen to work together to support Congolese youth in their promotion and accompaniment of entrepreneurship. By signing this memorandum of understanding, the Telema Foundation for Youth Entrepreneurship intends to strengthen its training and coaching component by sharing its experience and benefiting from the expertise and dynamism of JCECB members.

While training and financing are crucial to the success of an entrepreneurial project, the two organizations also aim to raise awareness among young people, who are sometimes unaware of the opportunities available to them. Furthermore, the year 2024, declared the Year of Youth by the Head of State, Denis Sassou N'Guesso, offers the Telema Foundation the opportunity to to strengthen its action and make a more active and effective contribution to solving the problem of youth unemployment, by collaborating with partners committed to the same objective.

In addition, the collaboration between Fondation Telema and JCECB offers prospects for developing an entrepreneurship awareness and training program. By improving young people's perception of entrepreneurship opportunities, these two organizations aim to stimulate interest in business start-ups, which in turn can foster Congo's socio-economic progress.

"The Jeune Chambre Economique du Congo Brazzaville thanks the Telema Foundation for its confidence in accepting this partnership for a common cause: the development of Congolese youth and entrepreneurship" , commented JCECB President Tatiana Soussa.

The JCECB aims to become a key player in the development of young Congolese entrepreneurs.
