The Twinning Committee's annual general meeting took place on Saturday, in the presence of around 50 members and the mayor, Cyrille Le Cléac'h. Membership is up sharply (currently 127), thanks in particular to the arrival of families with children.

Committee president Denis Jeanson praised the involvement of the association's members and the support of the commune.

The association's healthy financial situation, presented by the treasurer, will enable us to prepare for 2024 with confidence. This will include a visit from a group of young Germans from the town of Glienicke, in July. In May, a group of members (20 adults and 10 young people) will travel to Broadclyst (England). Continuing its efforts on behalf of the community's young people, the association has announced the creation of an annual fund to support those who go abroad, in the form of a contribution of several hundred euros towards their travel expenses.

The exact modalities of the fund's operation will be discussed and ratified by the new 15-member Board of Directors elected at the Annual General Meeting.

Cyrille Le Cleac'h brought the meeting to a close, underlining the importance of the twinning committee in the life of the commune and its work on behalf of young people.
