France/ The Pays de Bitche community of municipalities launches a call for projects for associations
The Pays de Bitche community of communes is launching a call for projects aimed at local associations. In order to benefit from financial aid, they must complete an application form and return it by April 5. What are the conditions? Who is eligible?
The Pays de Bitche Community of Communes wishes to provide financial support to local sports, cultural and leisure associations involved in local activities. This financial aid will enable associations to finance events or equipment essential to the pursuit of their activities.
Several criteria
It is subject to specific conditions and must meet several criteria.
Firstly, the project presented must be of inter-communal scope. The association's head office must be located within the Pays de Bitche community of communes. Projects involving the sharing of equipment or involvement with other organizations will be given priority.
Finally, the com'com commission will prioritize its choices according to the budget allocated. It may therefore decide to support certain projects rather than others. The aim is to ensure that as many of the region's associations as possible benefit from a grant over the years.
An ad hoc committee
For the purposes of this call for projects, profit-making associations are excluded, as are requests for sponsorship or direct communication. An ad hoc committee, made up of members of the Culture and Economic Development and Sports Policy Commissions, will meet after the application deadline to propose to the Community Council the allocation of grants in accordance with the requirements. Please note that expenses incurred since the beginning of the year are eligible for this financial support (subject to presentation of invoices).
