France/Call for expressions of interest " Résonances internationales de la francophonie " Decentralized Cooperation Support Fund for the Francophonie
The XIX Francophonie Summit will be held in Villers-Cotterêts on October 4 and 5, 2024. With this in mind, the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE), through its Délégation pour l'action extérieure des collectivités territoriales (DAECT), is setting up a support fund as part of a call for expressions of interest (AMI): "Résonances internationales de la Francophonie".
The aim of this AMI is to promote the Festival de la francophonie nationally, in France and overseas, and to mobilize all local players.
French local authorities will be able to propose projects linked to the French-speaking world, or which promote the French language in their external action. Successful initiatives may be included in the Festival de la Francophonie program between March and October 2024, and promoted through communication initiatives that will be put in place during this period, notably on the Internet and social networks. Some projects may be presented during the closing days of the Festival de la Francophonie in October 2024.
All French local authorities are welcome to apply. Applications must be sent by e-mail to secretariat.dgm-aect@diplomatie.gouv.fr (copy: damien.brintet@diplomatie.gouv.fr) before March 15, 2024.
The rules and regulations of this AMI, as well as the various related documents, in particular the project presentation form, can be consulted and downloaded from France Diplomatie.
