Eight days during which the projects resulting from this partnership will be highlighted simultaneously in both towns, through a program of creative events and exhibitions.

A drawing competition

As every year, a children's drawing competition is organized in both towns. In Orléans, the Anim'Orléans centers have renewed their participation, and the city's leisure centers have agreed to take up the challenge.

Decentralized cooperation between Orléans and Parakou

Since 1993, Orléans and Parakou have been linked by a decentralized cooperation agreement. This partnership is governed by agreements, renewed every three years, and broken down into several annual actions. The 2022-2024 agreement is based on a key theme: sustainable development. Actions such as the creation of a green lung in the city or the development of access to drinking water are currently being implemented.

It's on the theme of "Palaces and Castles" that the children have called on their creativity to create a patchwork of drawings, presented to the public in the form of an exhibition, from Monday November 20 to Saturday November 25, in the hall of the Maison des Associations, 43 ter rue Sainte Catherine.
