Togo-Education/Introduction of English at primary level: Over 200 teachers selected

A total of 231 teachers are currently being trained as part of the project to introduce English at pre-school and primary level in Togo.

This training program, initiated by the Togolese Ministry of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (MEPST), is part of the 2023-2024 school year.

Schools have been selected for the pilot phase of the project, which will later be extended to other schools.

It should be noted that this program follows Togo's accession to the Commonwealth in June 2022.
