In Plomodiern (Finistère), the municipal opposition would have liked a boost to keep up with inflation. A social subsidy of €37,497 was voted to cover social charges for canteen staff at Notre-Dame school.

Grants

Requests from associations in Plomodiern (Finistère) are practically at the same level as last year, "barring any particular investment", comments Anne-Marie Boucher, deputy manager of associations.

The opposition would have liked a boost to keep pace with inflation. A social subsidy of €37,497 was voted to cover social charges for canteen staff at the Notre-Dame school.

The calculation only takes into account children residing in the commune.

Development of the town center

Additional subsidies have been requested (from the DSIL local investment support grant and the Green Fund).

The financing plan shows a first tranche of €503,000 (€460,000 for acquisitions and €40,000 for demolition), subsidized at 90%.

The second tranche covers works costing €2 million, 80% of which will be financed by borrowing. The project has still not been validated by the Architecte des Bâtiments de France (ABF). A meeting is scheduled for early June 2023 in the hope of breaking the deadlock. The status quo is not satisfactory for anyone," comments mayor Joël Blaize.
