Launched on June 22, it is a training program that teaches Internet users about responsible use of social media.

Phil Oduor, Meta Policy's program manager for sub-Saharan Africa, is excited about the launch of the program in Cameroon: "We are thrilled to launch My Digital World here in Cameroon. This program is designed to provide youth and the general public with the skills to navigate digital spaces safely and responsibly," he said.

It should be noted that this initiative launched in Cameroon by the U.S. firm Meta is supported by GIDICom, Digital Access and Positive Youths Africa. Structured around specific workshops led by a trainer, the program aims to train more than 4,000 young people in total who will be worthy ambassadors of the firm for responsible use of social media in the country.
