Promotion: In Cameroon, the National Cocoa and Coffee Board trains hoteliers to prepare local coffee

The National Cocoa and Coffee Board (ONCC) has just organized a training workshop for hotel masters in the preparation of local coffee in Kribi, a seaside town in the southern region of the country. According to the ONCC, this initiative is part of the promotion of Cameroonian coffee, which is not yet widely consumed in the country.

"Cameroonian coffee is one of the best in the world. We, Cameroonians, must be the first to savor its delights," said Michael Ndoping, Director General of the ONCC. We remember that in order to boost the consumption of coffee produced and roasted locally, the interprofessional cocoa-coffee of Cameroon already organizes for some years (initiative interrupted since the pandemic of Covid-19), days of coffee tasting.
