Morocco/INDH: Launch of a call for projects on the development of local value chains in Agadir-Ida Outanane

A call for projects relating to the development of local value chains was launched for the benefit of cooperatives, economic interest groups (EIGs) and very small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Agadir Ida-Outanane prefecture.

Thus, all entities working in the field of social and solidarity economy can submit their applications for funding of projects aimed at improving income, economic inclusion of young people and the creation of employment opportunities, through the development of local value chains, the prefecture said in a statement.The prefecture said in a statement that the INDH aims through this program to accompany these entities through technical and financial support.

The technical support consists of assistance in the creation of cooperatives or SMEs with high impact projects, or the mobilization of technical assistance for labeling and quality certification, and this in consultation with the ministerial departments concerned.

The financial support consists of a support from the INDH with a ceiling of 300.000DH, representing a maximum value of 60% of the invested capital and must concern only investments in activities emanating from local value chains.

The contribution of the project holder can be in cash or in kind, the latter should not exceed 50% of the overall contribution of the project holder, according to the release which specifies that cooperatives whose number of young and women cooperators exceeds 30% are eligible for funding.

Applications for the call for projects will be made through the completion of a registration form on the official website of the INDH of the prefecture of Agadir Ida-Outanane: "www.agadir-indh.gov.ma».

e and legalized (not performing a function in the public sector, semi-public or private), legal file of the entity carrying the project, last certificate of practice, financial and accounting balance sheet (last 3 years), presentation sheet of the project, as well as any useful document for the study of the file.

Registration for the call for projects will be open until May 03, 2021 at 15:00, according to the same which specifies that any incomplete file will be automatically rejected.
