Tunisia/French-speaking youth committed to a more egalitarian world!
Aimed at the CLÉF network (Clubs Leaders Étudiants Francophones), the international ENTREPRENATHON - EFH event was held from April 7 to 9, 2025 in Hammamet, Tunisia.
Four passionate and determined students represented Central and Eastern Europe at this international hackathon dedicated to entrepreneurship for gender equality. Read their accounts of three days of exchange, creativity and innovation.
- Ms Dorsaf Halila, student at the Technical University of Constructions Bucharest :
The ENTREPRENATHON in Hammamet was for me a most enriching human and professional adventure. I particularly appreciated the moment when we presented our podcast project: a rewarding stage that enabled us to confront our ideas, receive constructive feedback and gain confidence.
The various activities offered throughout the three days were both stimulating and fun, encouraging learning in a collaborative spirit.
Thank you again for this unique opportunity!
- Ms Hiba Khaldoun, student at the Technical University of Constructions Bucharest:
We were lucky enough to take part in the Entreprenathon competition organized by AUF, and these 72 hours were a very enriching experience. We learned a lot about entrepreneurship, whether in terms of strategy, teamwork or project development. Thanks to the coaching and workshops, we were able to improve our Podfemme project and make it more concrete. The atmosphere was motivating, the organization top-notch, and we left with new skills and lots of inspiration. Thanks again to AUF for this wonderful opportunity.
- Mr. Zine Eddine Chikirou, student at the Technical University of Constructions Bucharest:
We had the opportunity to be finalists in the EFH international entrepreneurship competition organized by AUF in Tunisia. During these 3 days, the podfemme team worked for 72 hours to fine-tune our project and learn how to turn a theoretical project into a real business with professional teachers in the field.
Honestly, I took this event as a life lesson: the extraordinary encounters I made, the impressive things I learned, nothing can change or replace them. So, once again, my thanks to the AUF.
- Mr. Henrik Tumasyants, student at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest:
If I had to describe the Hammamet hackathon in three words, I'd say: First, efficiency, because every minute counted and had to be used in a meaningful way. Secondly, multicolored, because each participant was unique in character and culture. Thirdly, fraternity, because beyond the official aspect of the competition, everyone helped each other and rejoiced in each other's happiness. I'm grateful to Franco-USAMV for their long-distance support, to my team for their hard work, and to the AUF and the Central and Eastern Europe region for allowing me to live this wonderful experience of hackathon and Hammamet hospitality!
