On Sunday May 26, the Association des jeunes de la rue 5 de Médina (AJ5M) and the citizen movements "Gueule Tapée Debout" and "Diappal Ma Diap" are organizing a major campaign to clean up and beautify the streets of La Médina.

"This major clean-up and beautification campaign will take place in all the streets (1 to 9) of La Médina, from avenue Blaise Diagne to rue 6," says the same source.

The activity is organized in collaboration with the Société nationale de gestion intégrée des déchets solides (SONAGED), the city of Dakar and partner organizations, the press release states.
