Morocco/Moulay Yacoub: Celebration of International Cooperative Day

Moulay Yacoub - The Moulay Yaâcoub Provincial Committee for Human Development organized a communication meeting on Saturday to mark the International Day of Cooperatives.

The program for the meeting, which took place at the Plateforme provinciale des Jeunes de Douiyet, included workshops focusing on the various difficulties encountered by cooperatives benefiting from the supportthe National Initiative for Human Development's program to improve incomes and economic inclusion of young people, which supports the social and solidarity economy.

Under the motto "Assessment, constraints and opportunities for strengthening the social and solidarity economy in Moulay Yacoub province", the meeting also examined the opportunities and possibilities for promoting the social and solidarity economy in the province.

This initiative represents an opportunity to highlight the success achieved by the National Initiative for Human Development in supporting cooperative action.

The social/solidarity-based economy is seen as a tool for strengthening solidarity and societal participation in the development and promotion of local products, in order to achieve sustainable and comprehensive social and economic development.

These activities are of great symbolic value, reflecting the fundamental objectives of the programs of the National Initiative for Human Development, which places territorial development at the heart of its interests. through the implementation of various projects in different fields for the benefit of young people, given their effective role in consolidating human development through the socio-economic integration of the local population.
