France/ Trédarzec town council debates sustainable development project
Lannion-Trégor communauté is committed to limiting the consumption of agricultural, natural and forest areas for Trédarzec (Côtes-d'Armor). The bridge over the Jaudy was also mentioned.
On Wednesday evening, the town council of Trédarzec, near Paimpol (Côtes-d'Armor), met with the mayor, Yvon Le Séguillon.
Sustainable development project (Padd)
Elected representatives held a wide-ranging debate on the main orientations of the Sustainable Development and Planning Project (Padd) for the Intercommunal Urban Development Plan (PLUi-H).
The agglomeration has embarked on the Zan trajectory (zero net artificialisation), to be achieved by 2050, with an intermediate target of 2031.Lannion-Trégor communauté is thus committed to limiting the consumption of agricultural, natural and forest areas to around 200 ha between 2021 and2031, i.e. 45% less than in the previous decade, and to limit artificial development to around 100 ha by 2040.
"Between 2021 and 2040, there will still be 49 homes to build. Bearing in mind that everything that has been built before has already fallen within the envelope," said the mayor.
Communal rates 2024
The elected representatives unanimously decided to renew the 2023 rates for rental of the village halls, multi-purpose halls and association halls. However, a slight change has been made to the rental rates for the salle des fêtes for people from outside the commune. From January1, 2024, rental will be €300.
The project for a footbridge over the Jaudy was raised.
Gilbert Le Houérou, delegate councillor for intercommunality, pointed out that the idea ofa footbridge over the Jaudy river, between Tréguier and Trédarzec, was raised at an Agglo meeting.The cost of the work is estimated at around 1.5 million euros. The project is due to give rise to a meeting with all the protagonists. The Department owns the remains that are still visible.
Grant application for roadworks
The municipality will be applying for a government grant of 35% of the cost of the project, under the Dotation d'équipement des territoires ruraux (DETR), to finance the roadworks on rue de Kerguézec. This represents a total of €91,328.
