France/Why Warneton contributes to Deûlémont's operating costs
Every year, the mayor of Deûlémont submits lists of operating and investment expenses to the town of Warneton, even though the two towns are closely linked.
In 2014, a partnership agreement was signed between the communes of Deûlémont and Warneton to reinitiate their intercommunality. Each year, the mayor of Deûlémont sends the commune of Warneton a list of operating and investment expenses for the previous financial year.

The municipality of Warneton then pays a portion of the fees based on a number of criteria. It participates in the operating costs relating to the reception of young Warnetonois in the primary schools of its neighbor and in the investment costs relating to their reception at the Guynemer school. Communal buildings and facilities are also concerned (Salle André-Dekyndt, sports complex, church, cemetery, war memorial and veterans' stele).
In recent years, a lump-sum payment has been made for investments. For 2025, it will therefore pay €16,511 for operations and €5,180 for investment. " See you at the end of the year, at the end of the mandate, to reflect on the future ", declared Christophe Liénart, mayor of Deûlémont.
