France/Twinning with Sequedin is also associative

As part of the twinning between the two towns, links have been forged over the last few years between the Sports et loisirs maureilhanais (SLM) association and the Omni sport municipal sequedinois (OSMS) association.

The board members of both associations came to see and take part in each other's end-of-year galas. Last year, a step forward was taken when eight adults from the OSMS dance section came to Maureilhan to take part in the SLM gala. And this year, it was the mothers of the SLM's leisure dance section who came up to the outskirts of Lille. They were immediately welcomed and integrated into the organization of two galas over two days, with 140 dancers and 450 spectators per performance. And they, too, took to the stage to offer the sequedinois a show on the theme of Carnet de voyage. The 991.8 km separating Maureilhan and Sequedin disappeared for the weekend.
