France/Twinning in Rennes-le-Château: the friendship forged continues

A two-day visit from the Italians of Rozassa to Rennes-le-Château, this weekend delighted all members of the twinning association of the two towns.

After a visit to Abbé Saunière's estate and the church for the new twins, a tour of the Gorges de Galamus and a visit to a winery in Limoux set the pace for their stay, which ended with a shared meal. Mayors Alexandre Painco and Francesca Delmastro Delle Vedove renewed their commitment to close ties of friendship, as did the Castelrennais. The exchange of local produce as gifts after the speeches was warmly applauded by the twinning members.
