Val-au-Perche is keen to set up a twinning arrangement with a French or international community. To this end, the Cerizay (Deux-Sèvres) twinning committee visited the Orne commune.

For several months now, the municipality of Val-au-Perche (Orne) has been keen to set up a twinning arrangement with a French or foreign commune. To this end, a working group of local residents and elected representatives has been set up to work on the project. One thing led to another, and the group established contact with elected officials and the Cerizay twinning committee in the Deux-Sèvres region.

In September 2023, elected representatives from Val-au-Perche visited Cerizay, and on Saturday June 22, 2024, the Orne municipality welcomed elected representatives from Cerizay. The aim was to showcase the Perche region and work on common objectives. The elected representatives were able to discover the traditional Perche cider mill and discuss joint projects in three areas: youth, culture and sport.
