Concert - Orchestre régional de Normandie
"Entre ciel et terre - Dialogue entre un tambour japonais et un orchestre" (Between Heaven and Earth - Dialogue between a Japanese drum and an orchestra)

Friday, July 12 - 8:30pm - Barrage du Couesnon - Free admission

The Orchestre Régional de Normandie is invited to produce its work "Entre ciel et terre - Dialogue entre un tambour japonais et un orchestre" on the Couesnon dam, at sunset.

Between a taiko, a saxophone and a symphony orchestra, "Entre ciel et terre" is a dialogue in concert form, a creative act celebrating the meeting of music and tradition on the Couesnon dam, between two worlds, two landscapes. Pierrick Hardy's score brings together the Orchestre Régional de Normandie, percussionist Nori Kajio, master of the traditional drum, and saxophonist Jean-Marc Larché.
