France/Ceyrat. A Romanian delegation present in April
The Ceyrat-Oradea Romanian twinning committee held its general meeting at the Salle Saint-Verny.
Martine Duchaine and Marie-Françoise Macel, co-presidents of the twinning committee, presented the 2023 annual report. The vice-president, Georgette Morange-Tonnerre, underlined the work of the office in reviving and maintaining exchanges with the town of Oradéa.
Loto on January 19
As for the committee's activities in 2024, a lotto evening will be held on Friday January 19, at the La Griffe cultural center.
A Romanian twinning delegation will be in Ceyrat from Monday April 29 to Friday May 3. Once again, host families will be on hand to welcome their Romanian friends.
The water-themed week will include a visit to Lac de La Crégut, in the Cantal region, with a conference, and a return trip via Lac Pavin. The gala dinner is scheduled for Thursday evening, May 2.
The Ceyrat-Oradéa twinning committee will be present at the forum in September.
On the financial front, treasurer Daniel Thiriet announced a slightly positive 2023 balance sheet.
Membership fees remain unchanged at €12 per family. The moral and financial reports were unanimously approved.
Martine Duchaine and Daniel Thiriet were unanimously re-elected as outgoing members of the Board of Directors. Richard Trapeau joins the Board.
