Congo/ Women's rights: Bee Green Academy raises awareness
On March 4, to mark the month of March dedicated to women's rights, the institute specializing in green jobs brought together female experts in Pointe-Noire for a masterclass in support of its students and women. From public speaking techniques to the fight against gender violence, the "Woman's day" event offered participants concrete tools for their emancipation.
Sustainable development is not just about ecology, but also about social balance and equal opportunities. It was with this vision that the Bee Green Academy celebrated its "Woman's day" on March 4. The event was conceived as a forum for discussion and exchange, with the aim of arming women to face contemporary challenges.
The first highlight of the day was a talk by Daysie Portella. An acclaimed journalist and star of Canal+'s "Cœur de femme" program, she shared her expertise on an essential lever of power: the spoken word. During this interactive workshop, she shared with participants the keys to breaking the glass ceiling of shyness. She focused on structuring speech for maximum impact and managing stress and physical posture. Assertiveness techniques in high-pressure professional environments were also developed.
The second part of the masterclass dealt with gender-based violence. Bee Green Academy welcomed Jessica Mamoni Goma, Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Pointe-Noire Court of Appeal and leading figure in the Groupe de réflexion contre les violences.
The magistrate was both pedagogical and firm, reminding us that knowledge of the law is a victim's first weapon. In particular, she insisted on identifying the different forms of violence (physical, psychological, economic).
" Through this initiative, we are reaffirming our commitment to the advancement of women. The aim is to train young people to be aware of the challenges of sustainable development and gender equality ", explained Bee Green Academy managers.By combining soft skills and civic awareness, the Bee Green Academy proves that the ecological transition and corporate social responsibility are inseparable from human dignity. The participants left not only with theoretical knowledge, but above all with the confidence to assert themselves in both their private and professional lives.
