Congo/ Training: AUF-Congo strengthens students' digital skills
The workshop organized by the national office of the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF-Congo), from February 19 to 21 in Brazzaville, aims to update the knowledge of some thirty students from member institutions of the aforementioned agency in the field of digital data analysis.
Data processing with Excel, part of the AUF-Congo national office's strategic focus on digital transformation and governance, is on the menu of this three-day workshop. " Known for its calculation capabilities, Microsoft Excel includes functions such as pivot tables and graphs for data analysis", explained Pr Edouard Ngamountsika, AUF-Congo's national representative.
The aim of the workshop is to familiarize and strengthen participants' skills in data collection, processing and analysis techniques. According to Donjul Tchi Ngoma, head of the AUF-Congo digital campus, the workshop will, among other things, introduce students todescriptive and inferential statistical analysis, how to collect and reconcile multiple data, and how to carry out guided analyses based on raw data. In addition to the theoretical aspects, the workshop will focus on practical case studies and role-playing.
