Canada/ Cégep de Sorel-Tracy Green Committee distributes 250 trees
The Cégep de Sorel-Tracy's Green Committee took advantage of Tree Month on May 21 to repeat the tradition, for the third year running, by handing over 250 trees to the Collège community, courtesy of the Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs.
It took less than two hours to sell out all the trees and perennials. Trees available included yellow birch, sugar maple, white spruce and white pine.
Interested parties could also take part in a perennial exchange, bringing in their surplus and leaving with another variety.
