Canada/CISSS de la Gaspésie reintroduces masks at CHSLD de Gaspé (Monseigneur-Ross)

Canada

In view of the presence of respiratory viruses in the area, and in order to reduce the risk of propagation within the CHSLD, CISSS de la Gaspésie is once again making it compulsory for visitors, caregivers and staff to wear medical masks at the CHSLD de Gaspé.

As this is a living environment, residents are excluded from this measure. The present recommendation concerning the wearing of masks is of indefinite duration. We would also like to remind you that simple gestures can limit the transmission of infectious respiratory diseases, such as coughing into your elbow, hand hygiene, keeping your vaccination up to date, wearing a mask when you have symptoms or when required, and staying at home if you have a fever.
