Côte d'Ivoire / Classrooms and equipment for M'Bahiakro schools

The mayor of M'Bahiakro, Diamala Kouassi Raphaël, officially handed over the keys to classrooms and school furniture to the commune's nursery schools, at ceremonies held on Monday February 24 at the N'gattakro school group, EPP Kouassikro and EPP Abokro.

A classroom and a two-stall latrine were built in each of the N'gattakro, Kouassikro and Abokro nursery schools, as part of the city council'sThese were presented by Mayor Diamala in the presence of the departmental prefect and the educational community.

Mr. Diamala declared that education is a vector of progress and a source of development for the population. He noted that these classrooms and equipment help to improve study conditions for learners and working conditions for teachers, and contribute to the promotion of excellence and community development. The mayor asked the beneficiaries of these school infrastructures and furnishings to make good use of them for quality teaching.

These achievements by the M'Bahiakro municipal council were warmly welcomed by Inspector Gueye Modeste, deputy district chief.

Prefect Vé Kossounou Brigitte praised Mayor Diamala's commitment to education, and expressed her conviction that the new facilities will provide an environment conducive to the learning and development of young children. She encouraged the teachers for the work they do on a daily basis, urging the pupils to invest themselves in their studies.

The chief magistrate of the M'Bahiakro commune announced the completion of the education project for 2025, including the rehabilitation of the municipal kindergarten, the construction of a new school and the construction of a new school.cole maternelle municipale, the construction of the Koko 1 nursery school, and the equipping of the N'diorékro, Ouokoukro and N'gattakro elementary school with desks.
