Constantine continues to open up remote regions. Three communes have recently benefited from local development programs in the sectors of drinking water supply (AEP), urban development, education and youth and sports.

Structural projects are underway, and others have just been launched in the communes of Ouled Rahmoun, Aïn Abid and Messaoud Boudjriou. This initiative is in line with the local development program scheduled for 2025, supported by various funding meincluding the Fonds de solidarité des collectivités locales and the programme de soutien au développement socio-économique communal.

In Messaoud Boudjeriou, rehabilitation work on the 30-unit housing estate, financed by the Fonds de solidarité destiné aux communes, has been completed. In Aïn Abid, drinking water is now flowing in the isolated areas of Ouled Jebnoun, Legouamia, Essekrania and Ouled Mabrouk, following completion of the water supply project. A crucial step for these hamlets, which are often confronted with shortages of the precious liquid.

In Ouled Rahmoun, where the hustle and bustle of worksites is most visible, several structuring projects have been launched, starting with the construction of two artificial turf sports fields at the Ghrab Rabah and Gharabsi Hamdani schools. These facilities are designed to encourage the practice of sports from an early age. Still on the sporting front, the Ouled Rahmoun communal stadium will soon be equipped with a modern changing room, to better accommodate local clubs and athletes.

On the urban development front, several areas of this commune, located to the south of the eastern capital, are getting a real facelift. The secondary grouping of El Guerrah, the Mazouz Messaoud district (upper part of El Guerrah) and the Mohamed Bouarroudj district (center of Ouled Rahmoun) are the focus of major interventions: creation of roads, access improvements, children's play areas and even a parking lot to relieve congestion in residential areas.

Finally, to guarantee a hot meal for pupils at the Bedoui Boujemaa school, the latter will benefit from a brand-new school restaurant financed directly by the commune.
