The twinning committee of Thouaré proposed, on Saturday, a workshop of Advent wreath making in the spirit of German Christmas.

For our friends from Homberg (Germany), these wreaths are part of the traditions and allow to decorate a door or a table, with four candles, which correspond to the four weeks of Advent", explains Alain Morvant, the president of the twinning committee. The participants to this workshop knew how to exploit, with talent, branches of fir tree, laurels, holly and dried flowers to constitute magnificent ornaments, enhanced by some Christmas balls and other candles.

The next workshops will take place on Saturday, December 3 and 10, with two German Christmas cookie workshops, at the Morvandière space.

"A playful kitchen, flavored with cinnamon spices, vanilla, candied fruits, without forgetting the cocoa, will be proposed to you to realize, cook and taste these marvellous small pastries, to share between friends or in family", concludes Alain Morvant.

Saturdays, December 3 and 10, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m., Espace La Morvandière, 23, rue de Mauves, Thouaré.
