France/Sustainable development meeting in Ille-et-Vilaine

The Alimenterre and Festisol festivals are organized in the department during the month of social and solidarity economy.

For the 15th edition of the Alimenterre festival, which runs until November 30, more than 80 screenings are organized in Ille-et-Vilaine throughout the department, in Rennes, Fougères, Redon, VitréThe festival will take place in Rennes, Fougères, Redon, Vitré, Montfort-sur-Meu, Muel, Saint-Lunaire and Ercé-en-Lamée.

Through the nine selected documentaries, the festival depicts a picture of the global food system, with the objective of providing keys to understanding production and consumption practices, affecting not only the most vulnerable but the entire population.

By proposing debates accompanied by speakers, the screenings open up spaces for exchange and reflection for those who question the practices and their impacts.

Talking about solidarity and youth involvement

From November 19 to December 4, Festisol will take the public on a discovery of solidarity in Rennes. The members of the Festisol collective of Rennes propose to come and meet them during events that explore, question and highlight the forms of commitment, particularly of young people, around the issues of food, climate change and women's voices.

During this fortnight, artisans and partners of this key moment in the life of Rennes citizens are organizing friendly and committed events to talk about solidarity and youth engagement.

From November1st to 30th, it is the month of social and solidarity economy. An opportunity to discover and understand it. The actors of the territory mobilize and organize conferences, debates, workshops, visits and forums. In Ille-et-Vilaine, there are 87 events.
