As part of the Latin America and Caribbean Week, the Delegation for the External Action of Territorial Authorities (DAECT) invites you to an online seminar on the following theme

"Decentralized Cooperation Latin America and the Caribbean: Sustainable Development, Tourism and Heritage

This seminar will be an opportunity to arouse the interest of French local authorities in developing their partnerships with this region of the world thanks to the testimonies of some of the most prominent French local authorities.This seminar will be an opportunity to arouse the interest of French local authorities in developing their partnerships with this region of the world thanks to the testimonies of local authorities already cooperating on these promising themes in terms of local development. French and foreign embassies will also speak to shed light on the local context of cooperation and present partnership requests from Latin American local authorities.

As a follow-up to this event, a one-day workshop will also be held on 8 June (details to be confirmed), to allow the actors of the Franco-Latin American decooperation and their partners to meet and discuss priority themes (health, citizen participation and environment/climate/biodiversity).
