Togo/International Tax Dialogue in Lomé in November 2021

The Tax and Customs Training Institute of the Togolese Revenue Office (IFFD-OTR), announces the first edition of the International Dialogue on Taxation (DIF) on November 11 and 12. The initiative will be held in Lomé, the Togolese capital. The theme chosen for this meeting is: "Decentralization and local taxation".

The event will bring together local tax researchers and their foreign peers. The actors will discuss emerging research topics related to current events. In particular, the issues of fiscal decentralization, finance, or the forms of rapprochement between the State and local authorities.

"The holding of these unprecedented days, will not only further support local elected officials in the collection and mobilization of resources, but also actively participate in local management of proximity, "said the OTR.

A call for papers whose terms of reference are available on the official portal of the OTR, is launched in this sense until August 13, 2021.
