In Palau, Taiwan in support of Sustainable Development Goals

Taiwan and Palau believe in the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, the foreign ministry said in Taipei.

That is why Foreign Minister Joseph Wu [吳釗燮] was on 21 January with the Palauan President Surangel S. Whipps Jr. to inaugurate the Ngaraard State Community Centre, which is part of the Taiwan-Palaos bilateral cooperation. Joseph Wu had attended the inauguration ceremony of the new president as special representative of President Tsai Ing-wen [蔡英文].
