The High Commissioner's Office issued a press release on Friday announcing the launch of the call for projects of the Fund for the Development of Voluntary Associations (FDVA). An endowment of 20 million Fcfp is planned this year. Associations are invited to submit their applications before March 15 to the Mission of Technical Support for Youth and Sport.

Guy Fitzer, administrator, head of the administrative subdivisions of the Windward and Leeward Islands, representing the High Commissioner, chaired, on Thursday, the territorial commission of the fund for the development of community life (FDVA) in order to proceed with the assessment of the FDVA 2020, as well as the launch of the FDVA 2021 campaign. The latter will be structured this year around three axes: the training of volunteers and associative leaders, the global financing of the activity of an association and the implementation of new projects or activities. An endowment of 20 million Fcfp is planned for this purpose.

Associations are invited to submit their applications before midnight on 15 March 2021 to the Mission d'appui technique jeunesse et sport.

The High Commission indicates that in 2020, 36 associations benefited from the fund for the development of community life. In particular, 50 projects have been launched in the areas of solidarity, the environment, sport, youth and health.
