The city of Trélazé reaffirms the Franco-German friendship with the city of Ketsch on the occasion of the "Franco-German" day.

Within the framework of its twinning with the German town of Ketsch, the town of Trélazé wished to be associated with this Franco-German day "which carries values that are dear to the community: openness, cultural enrichment, citizenship, belonging to the European Union, respect between peoples". In this spirit, "Trélazé has always favoured exchanges between fellow citizens, individuals or groups, notably through associations, with accommodation in families, to encourage friendships between Trélazéens and Ketschois, outside the official field.

In view of the current health context, this day also makes it possible "to maintain and consolidate the link with our friends from Ketsch, whom we did not have the pleasure of receiving in 2020 to celebrate our ten years of complicity". It is only a postponement, and while waiting for a "return to normal", "Trélazé invites its inhabitants to rethink together our twinning relations, with initiatives like those of today! Moreover, with dynamism, the Twinning participative commission, installed in autumn 2020, is working on new forms of exchanges".
