France/Twinning: a week in Tarporley for a dozen teenagers from Bohemia

From August 17 to 24, 2024, a dozen teenagers from Bohars stayed with English families in Tarporley, UK. The English twinning committee organized various sporting activities, including paddle-boarding, bowling and rock-climbing. Two other days were set aside for an Alton Towers theme park and a Manley Mere mud park.

The French and English shared activities during the day, and each teenager met up with his or her pen pal and family in the evening, making for great sporting and cultural exchanges. The teenagers, Valentine and Yanis, the two accompanying adults, returned home delighted and looking forward to welcoming their English friends to Bohars in 2025.

At the associations forum on September 7

The Bohars-Tarporley twinning association will be present at the associations forum: Raymond Le Gouëff, president of the twinning committee, looks forward to seeing you all on Saturday September 7, 2024, and is already taking registrations for the committee's traditional annual "fish and chips" meal on Saturday November 9 in Bohars.
