Vietnam and the Netherlands strengthen their decentralized cooperation
The Vietnamese ambassador to the Netherlands, Pham Viêt Anh, recently paid a working visit to the city of Oss, at the invitation of the city's mayor, Wobine Buijs-Claudemans.
Oss is a small town in the east of the Netherlands in the province of North Brabant. It has strengths in manufacturing and traditional agriculture. Ambassador Pham Viet Anh visited a farm run by a young couple that employs 55 workers and raises 350 dairy cows.
The city of Oss had signed a twinning agreement with the Vietnamese province of An Giang (South).
On this occasion, the mayor of the city expressed her wish that the two localities promote their cooperation after a period of interruption of the activities due to the epidemic of COVID-19.
In addition, the authorities of North Brabant also wished to strengthen the cooperation with other localities in Vietnam.
