On the occasion of an evening organized on Friday, June 10, 2022, in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin (Manche), François Briard and Franck Bocage came back on their journey in Ukraine.

About a hundred people participated

The fifty or so people invited were all donors who enabled them to collect no less than €23,000 in cash and €9,000 in donations of market value (food, hygiene products).

In total, a hundred people participated so that they could go to Ukraine for 10 days to deliver. They recall that "the association's intention was not to make donations without knowing where they would go. Now we know exactly where it went.

"It is absolutely necessary to bring Cherbourg closer to Drohobytch".

After crossing Ukraine from March 26 to April 3, 2022, they already have new projects in mind. First of all, they want to raise a fund to be able to deliver material again.

Then to bring together the cities of Cherbourg and Drohobytch, which are of comparable size. The mayor of the city, Mr. Taras Kuchma, sees in France an ally who could help them to get out of the crisis.
